Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms describe the terms applicable to TastePapa Pro, the optional paid subscription to the TastePapa mobile application (the "Service"). These Subscription Terms supplement and form part of the TastePapa Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

1. Subscription Plans

TastePapa Pro is offered on a recurring auto-renewing subscription basis. Available plans, billing periods, prices, and any free-trial availability are displayed within the app prior to purchase. Pricing is presented in your local currency and may differ between regions.

2. Billing

Subscriptions are sold and billed exclusively through the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android), in accordance with the platform's billing terms. We do not process payments directly. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.

3. Auto-Renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal price equals the then-current price for the plan unless otherwise disclosed before renewal.

4. Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, the trial duration and any conditions are disclosed prior to enrollment. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and your store account will be charged at the end of the trial period. Free trials are available only to eligible new subscribers.

5. Managing and Canceling Your Subscription

You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your store account:

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until that period ends. Deleting the TastePapa app or your TastePapa account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

6. Refunds

Refunds for subscription charges are governed by the policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple or Google through their respective support channels. Where required by applicable law, you may have additional refund or withdrawal rights.

7. Pro Features

TastePapa Pro unlocks the following features, which may be updated from time to time:

Free-tier users have access to a limited number of imports, AI generations, and other gated features per month. Free-tier limits are enforced server-side and may change.

8. Price Changes

We may change subscription prices for new subscribers at any time. For existing subscribers, any price increase will take effect at the next renewal after notice is provided in compliance with applicable app store and legal requirements. You may cancel before the increase takes effect to avoid renewal at the new price.

9. Service Interruption

If a payment fails or your subscription lapses, Pro features may be suspended until the subscription is reinstated. Free-tier features remain accessible. Temporary unavailability of AI providers or third-party services does not entitle you to a refund except where required by law.

10. Changes to These Subscription Terms

We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Your continued use of the subscription after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Subscription Terms.
